After making fans wait thirteen months since first teasing “Invaders” last July, Zomboy has finally released the blistering dubstep single. It was originally believed that the song would appear on the Neon Graves EP, but fans were understandably disappointed when the release surfaced without it.

After gaining steam on the live front from notable bass DJs like Getter and SKisM, Zomboy has finally given in to our demands and dropped “Invaders” over the weekend via Never Say Die Black Label XXL.

“Invaders” features all the hallmarks we’ve come to expect of Zomboy’s dubstep material as of late, with mind warping sound design and screeching basslines. The new single kicks off with an ominous chord progression accompanied by cinematic percussion, creating an eerie, galactic atmosphere. The track then explodes into wild fan pleasing drops with raucous metallic synths and monstrous growls layered between punchy drum hits.

Despite the wait, Zomboy‘s latest effort is a solid dubstep workout that will leave fans satisfied. As such, it’s nice to see it finally get an official release.
