Chris Brown is capitalizing on his name lighting up the headlines, dropping a new song on SoundCloud less than 24 hours after he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Earlier this week, Brown revealed his intentions to release a new song on Instagram and the dance-driven “What Would You Do?” followed shortly after. Though the title hints that it could have some relation to his recent legal trouble, it’s more than likely just a coincidence, as the lyrics to the bubbly track didn’t have any references to it.

Brown was arrested at his California residence on Tuesday after former Miss California Regional Baylee Curran told police that he pointed a gun at her. This led to a police stand-off that lasted for hours, resulting in numerous social media videos from Brown criticizing the police.

Eventually, Brown was arrested and released on $250,000 bail. Authorities did not find any weapons at his home, and the singer’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, claims that Curran’s story is fabricated. A court date is scheduled for September 20th.
