Lupe Fiasco has released the official music video for his song Out Of My Head. The track features Trey Songz and is off Lupe’s latest album, Lasers. In his third video from the album (the first two being The Show Goes On and Words I Never Said), we see the 29 year old Chicago MC singing about a girl who he’s caught up on. Trey Songz joins Lupe on the Miykal Snoddy-produced track that serves as the third single from Lasers.

“Out of My Head is such a dope song and easily one of my favorite collaborations to date,” Trey Songz said in a statement. “When Lupe first played the track for me I knew it was going to be a smash, and I’m happy it’s been received so well.”

With Lasers, Lupe is looking to take things to the next level. While he has already garnered a significant amount of fame, most wouldn’t place him amongst the music elite just yet.

“For this record, being a more popular record and being the goal of this record from its inception, no matter what changes and phases and label battles that it went through, it was always about, “Let’s take it to another level,” said Lupe.

The catchy R&B beat backs up Trey’s smooth hook and Lupe’s infectious rapping. As a single, the track is radio friendly enough to succeed. It’s an easy listen and a solid upbeat song which shouldn’t have any trouble finding popularity.
