Releasing alongside Infinite Warfare in November – it’ll be available exclusively through the shooter’s premium editions – We Got This Covered had a chance to go hands-on with Infinity Ward’s upcoming re-release, revealing a thrilling experience that has aged remarkably well, even if we harbor some gripes about Activision’s decision to bundle Modern Warfare Remastered with the next installment in the series.

Until such a time when (if?) the publisher backpedals and decides to release a standalone version, a new trailer has surfaced from the annual event, this time unveiling the fine-tuned multiplayer component included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Come November 4, it’ll ship with 10 maps in total – Crash, Backlot, Crossfire, Overgrown and Bog included – before Activision completes the online roster of arenas with the launch of another six maps before the year’s end. We’ll be keeping tabs on that one as the year progresses.

Jetting Activision’s crown jewel into a dark future riddled with space warfare and duplicitous corporations, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been pegged for launch across PS4, Xbox One One and PC on November 4. Those who pick up the premium editions of the futuristic shooter will gain access to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered right off the bat.
