Last week, Canadian producer Shaun Frank touched down in Denver to put on a special curated show alongside Han Solo, Herobust and cln ahead of The Chainsmokers’ performance at Red Rocks. This week, a recap video of the performance has hit social media and it features a preview of an upcoming Shaun Frank remix of The Chainsmokers’ latest hit, “Closer.”

Shaun Frank shares writing credits on “Closer,” so it’s no surprise to hear the rising producer take on the task of remixing the massive single. While the original version is a predominantly minor key affair, Frank mixes things up as he infuses a more uplifting vibe into the song with airy synth chords and bouncy future bass rhythms. We only get a brief glimpse of his remix, but what we hear so far has us excited for the finished product.

The rest of the recap video features stunning shots of the iconic Red Rocks amphitheater, backstage antics with Shaun Frank and The Chainsmokers, and plenty of performance footage, all converging to deliver an exciting promotional clip.
