The wait for a new Lady Gaga record is (almost) finally over. After releasing her brand new single, “Perfect Illusion,” last week, the pop superstar is dishing out the details on her upcoming full-length, which will serve as the follow-up to 2013’s ARTPOP. Lady Gaga’s new album, Joanne, will be out next month on October 21st.

Gaga announced the info on Beats 1 Radio in an interview with Zane Lowe, and says the title Joanne is a tribute to her aunt, who died of lupus in 1974. Gaga says the record will be completed within 48 hours, and one of the collaborators will be Hillary Lindsey, who’s best known for crafting country hits for the likes of Carrie Underwood and Cassadee Pope. You can listen to the full interview here.

Linking up with Lindsey is an interesting combination for sure, and is just more evidence on how Joanne may be Gaga’s most eclectic record to date. Along with Mark Ronson producing “Perfect Illusion,” other contributors to the record include Father John Misty and Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Josh Homme.

As far as additional album details go, the final track listing will include eleven songs with the potential for 14 on its deluxe edition, and the album packaging is going to have various family mementos. While we do our best to survive the month long wait for Lady Gaga‘s Joanne, we’ll keep on spinning “Perfect Illusion,” which has a music video that is expected to be out soon.
