Alert all commands: The new trailer for Star Wars Battlefront‘s Death Star DLC is coming in hot, and ahead of tomorrow’s big reveal – a reveal that ought to bring word of a firm release date – the latest teaser for DICE’s imminent expansion has found its way online.

Following Outer Rim and Bespin, Death Star is the third of four add-ons for the studio’s licensed shooter – Rogue One: Scarif is the fourth, and it’ll naturally launch in and around the December 16 arrival of Gareth Edwards’ Anthology film – and heralds the introduction of two new playable heroes in bounty hunter Bossk and that indelible walking carpet, Chewbacca.

Chewbacca: Armed with his signature bowcaster, Chewbacca can deal out even more damage than he can take. You will find his bowcaster even more powerful than the troopers Star Card as it initially only shoots one explosive bolt and doesn’t have a hold and release behavior…but it does have its own tricks.

Bossk: Bossk will regenerate a percentage of his health with each soldier kill or high damage to a hero. The health regenerated will increase with your trait. Of course, a Trandoshan needs a regeneration power! We wanted Bossk to feel like the enemy you can’t get rid of, the one you have to finish to make sure he is out of the picture for good otherwise he will come running back at you.

Electronic Arts and DICE are yet to lock down a due date for Battlefront‘s Death Star DLC. A double XP weekend is penciled in for September 23-25 though, according to the Battlefront Live Events Calendar, so it’s safe to assume that the shooter’s third add-on will touch down in and around then.
