This Fan-Made Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Is Pretty Damn Impressive

Joe and Anthony Russo are expected to commence production on Avengers: Infinity War next month, and although we may get a few sneaky set snaps (the duo have already provided fans with a Josh Brolin rehearsal pic) finding their way online this side of Christmas, it's probably going to be quite a while before we're treated to any official footage. Fortunately, we do have a very impressive fan-made trailer to keep you going in the interim.

Joe and Anthony Russo are expected to commence production on Avengers: Infinity War in October, and although we may get a few sneaky set snaps (the duo have already provided fans with a Josh Brolin rehearsal pic) finding their way online in the coming months, it’s probably going to be quite a while before we’re treated to any official footage. Fortunately, we do have a very impressive fan-made trailer to keep you going in the interim.

The trailer near-flawlessly edits together footage from several Marvel movies, and even includes the occasional shot from the likes of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Ang Lee’s Hulk. Infinity War will feature Thanos as the big bad, but because we haven’t seen a whole lot of the big fella in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far, he’s obviously used sparingly here, with the main focus instead being placed on the highly anticipated first meeting of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Thanos aside, specific plot details for the film are still under wraps – though we do know that the team will be “at their lowest and at their worst” in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, so it’ll be very interesting to see how the (former) Sentinel of Liberty is going to go about putting the band back together.

Avengers: Infinity War is set for release on May 4, 2018, while its follow-up film (which is yet to be re-titled) will be with us on May 3, 2019. Until we get something official, feast your eyes on the fan-made trailer above and be sure to leave us with your thoughts in the usual place down below.
