If there was one big takeaway from Rawson Marshall Thurber’s crime caper Central Intelligence, it was the cracking chemistry between Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. Endearing, genuine, and wildly entertaining, the pair’s camaraderie extends beyond the screen, too, but in 2017, we’ll be laying eyes on a new collaboration when Johnson and Hart make tracks for the depths of the jungle in Sony’s Jumanji sequel.

Ever the one to utilize Instagram as a digital bullhorn, in between takes, Johnson has been busy turning in status reports for his legions of vying fans, and just a few days back the fan-favorite unveiled the core Jumanji cast – Karen Gillan and Jack Black included – kitted out and ready to explore.

It’s a little different this time around, with the actor offering up a pair of behind-the-scenes videos that are more designed to draw attention to the likeable chemistry between the film’s co-stars than anything else.

While Nick Jonas also holds a role in Jake Kasdan’s continuation, that core group of explorers is comprised of Moose Finbar (Hart), Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Johnson), Professor Shelly Oberon (Black), and Ruby Roundhouse (Gillan). If those names sound totally fabricated, it’s because they likely are, with the overriding rumor being that Johnson, Hart, Gillan and Black are actually avatar-like stand-ins for a group of kids that stumble upon the famous Jumanji game. And yes, there is apparently a sound explanation as to why Karen Gillan is sporting “child-sized clothes.”
