Earlier this week, Marvel dropped three new TV spots for Doctor Strange, that while light on new footage, do serve as a tantalizing taste of what’s to come. In keeping with the previous trailers we’ve seen from the film, these new bits of promotional material once again keep most of the plot under wraps, leaving us with just as many unanswered questions as we had before watching – for instance, why is Mordo helping Strange even though he’s usually one of the hero’s greatest villains?

Those looking to learn more about the plot won’t find that here, but the TV spots are still worth a watch, if for no other reason than to see Benedict Cumberbatch in action as the titular Doctor. He looks great in the role and we can’t wait to see him make his MCU debut in just a few months’ time.

Doctor Strange hits theatres on November 4th and aside from Cumberbatch, also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton and Mads Mikkelsen, among others. To get acquainted with some of the new characters you’ll be meeting, be sure to check out the video below.
