Last week, it was revealed that both Robert Queen (Jamey Sheridan) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) will return for Arrow‘s 100th episode. Furthermore, executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed via his Twitter account that their return wouldn’t be part of a flashback or the newly created Flashpoint reality, something which led many fans to theories that time travel will be involved.

Considering the fact that Arrow‘s 100th episode is placed smack bang in the middle of The CW’s four night crossover, which also includes Supergirl, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow, that makes an awful lot of sense, and now Stephen Amell has revealed another fan-favourite character who will be making their presence felt in the episode.

That would be Deathstroke, the big bad of Arrow season 2. Whether or not it’s Manu Bennett in the costume is unclear, but seeing as the actor was pretty unhappy with the way his last appearance was handled, there’s a chance that he’s not back for more. Regardless, seeing as the series has never managed to top Slade Wilson when it comes to big bads, so whatever he’s up to here promises to be a lot of fun for fans.

Arrow returns to The CW on October 5th, but with the 100th episode not set to air until November, it could be a while before we get to see anything more from this landmark instalment.
