How do you go about making a song to follow up a track that topped the Billboard 100? That’s the question currently facing The Chainsmokers, after their recent hit, “Closer,” became the biggest success of their career. It seems that they’ve found the answer though in the form of “All We Know,” their new song that will be with us this Friday.

Earlier today, a preview surfaced online that gives us our first taste of the official version of the track, and it certainly sounds like Alex and Drew have another hit on their hands. Placing a heavy focus on the vocals, which once again come from Drew, along with Phoebe Ryan, the song is decidedly more low-key than what we’re used to hearing from the duo, with a slowed down tempo and a more chilled out vibe.

Still, it’s a well produced piece of music with some definite pop appeal, and while it may not make the same kind of waves that “Closer” did, it’s got a lot of soul to it and is sure to find an audience once it releases later this week.

Take a listen to “All We Know” below and be sure to leave us a comment letting us know what you think of The Chainsmokers‘ new track.
