Woody Harrelson is an actor that has been captivating audiences for the better part of three decades, and in that time, we’ve witnessed some truly stellar performances ranging from a cripplingly polite blind man opposite Will Smith in Seven Pounds to The Hunger Games franchise, where Harrelson brought the inimitable character of Haymitch Abernathy to the big screen like few could.

Adding another proverbial feather to his cap, Screen Daily brings word that Oscar-nominated star is primed to make his directorial debut with Lost in London. Little is known about the project at this early stage, only that it will be rooted in the English capital. Will Harrelson also headline said feature? Who knows, but you can readily expect that we’ll be keeping track of the actor’s feature film debut as it develops.

In town at the Zurich Film Festival to promote his title role in Rob Reiner’s new biopic LBJ, Harrelson has also lined up another collaboration with Reiner in the form of Shock And Awe. Pegged for 2017, it centers on a group of journalists operating under the George W. Bush presidency. Per Screen Daily: “We’re playing journalists who wrote important articles about the absurdity of associating Saddam Hussein with Osama Bin Laden or trying to connect him to 9/11.”

Beyond those political dramas, keep your peepers peeled for Harrelson to crop up in George Clooney’s starry domestic thriller Suburbicon, before delving back into blockbuster territory once more for War of the Planet of the Apes. No word yet on a production timeline for Lost in London, but watch this space for more.
