The nominees for this year’s MTV EMAs are in, revealing a cast of EDM’s most mainstream leaning producers and DJs for the annual European award show, including Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix and David Guetta.

The nominations for Best Electronic act feature the usual list of suspects, including David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Major Lazer, Calvin Harris, and Afrojack. Calvin Harris has also been nominated for the title of Best Male artist, serving as the only DJ on that list.

The Weeknd took to social media earlier in the week to reveal that a visual accompaniment for his new Daft Punk collaboration “Starboy” will be due out later today, but it’s already been selected as an entry for Best Video.

Oddly enough, The Chainsmokers are up for the award of best new artist, despite having made their breakthrough three years ago with “#Selfie.” Additionally, both Martin Garrix and Tomorrowland have been nominated for the title of “Best World Stage.”

The MTV EMAs are scheduled to go down Sunday, November 6, and will be broadcasted live from Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
