When Sia began teasing hashtags last month, rumors were swirling around that the pop star would be releasing a new album by the end of the year, led by the fresh single “The Greatest” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Unfortunately, there’s no new album, but Sia is going to be re-issuing her recent album, This Is Acting, instead.

This Is Acting came out earlier this year with a massive hit in “Cheap Thrills.” The deluxe edition of This Is Acting, which is going to be arriving on October 21st, will include the 12 track record with an additional seven songs – most of which are never before heard. Included on the collection is the aforementioned “The Greatest” – both the Lamar version and a Sia-only version – and some new tracks like “Confetti,” Midnight Decisions,” and “Jesus Wept.” Considering “Confetti” was written by Sia and This Is Acting co-writer Christopher Braide, it’s a safe bet to believe that the bonus tracks are just left overs from the original album’s sessions.

Though it’s a bummer that this didn’t result in an actual full-length, we still get a hefty load of new material to hold us over before Sia decides to hit the studio again for another record. Most importantly, the new songs come at a perfect time since Sia kicks off her headlining tour tonight in Seattle, so maybe she’s planning on throwing some of them on her setlist. One song that fans will for sure be hearing is “The Greatest,” which is currently sitting at number 28 on the Mainstream Top 40.
