To whet our appetites for what’s to come, Screen Gems has now released a new teaser trailer ahead of the panel, in which we get a glimpse of the horrors awaiting leading heroine Alice (Jovovich) in this latest instalment of the successful series.

Reportedly picking the story up immediately after the events of Resident Evil: Retribution, The Final Chapter will see Alice engage in her hardest fight yet, as she returns to Raccoon City to defeat the evil Umbrella Corp, and literally face her demons. The film will see Jovovich and fellow franchise alum Ali Larter joined by Ruby Rose, Iain Glen, Joon-Ki Lee, Shawn Roberts, Eoin Macken, and William Levy.

Though this new promotional footage is fleeting, we get a good sense of the high level of action we can expect, as well as its bloody and unrelenting nature. The film is currently expected to be the last in the series, but such decisions will ultimately be influenced by the box office performance of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, once it is released on January 27th, 2017.
