Doctor Strange Gets A Warning In Another New TV Spot

Personally, I’m beginning to wonder if we’ll have seen all but the final showdown by the time Doctor Strange actually reaches cinemas on November 4th 2016. With each new TV spot – and there have been many – there are tantalising new snippets of footage. But, those snippets all add up to making us feel very familiar with the film before we ever set foot in a theatre.

Personally, I’m beginning to wonder if we’ll have seen all but the final showdown by the time Doctor Strange actually reaches cinemas on November 4th, 2016. With each new TV spot – and there have been many – there are tantalizing new snippets of footage. But, those snippets all add up to making us feel very familiar with the film before we ever set foot in a theatre.

Take this latest TV spot, for example. Yes, there are the familiar tones of Tilda Swinton’s Ancient One, telling us again that reality isn’t really what we think it is. Yes, there are the familiar tones of Doctor Strange himself commenting on his own lack of understanding. But now, we also have Wong (Benedict Wong) issuing a sinister warning – telling Doctor Strange to be careful, lest he lose his way.

We also have an impressive shot of the villainous Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen) striding purposefully out of a portal in the middle of a bustling street, flanked by minions. There are also some new, quick shots of Doctor Strange in action for good measure.

We’re still over two weeks away from the theatrical release of Doctor Strange, and the level of promotional footage already exposed is somewhat concerning. We can only hope that Marvel is keeping some big surprises up its sleeve, and that there is still enough mystery surrounding the film to keep us intrigued when it finally arrives.
