After teasing fans with something big via a mysterious countdown on their website last week, The Chainsmokers have exceeded expectations with the announcement of a new EP. Fan speculation was rampant in the time leading up to the countdown’s completion, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

The as of yet untitled EP will serve as the duo’s follow-up to last year’s Bouqet, which featured their first big pop single, “Roses.” Since then, their trajectory has only continued to push further upward, with hits like “Closer” and “Don’t Let Me Down” dominating the charts and thrusting Alex Pall and Drew Taggart into the limelight.

To coincide with the announcement, The Chainsmokers are giving fans the opportunity to participate in the reveal of the EP’s cover art. By following their Nice Hair playlist on Spotify, fans can begin to unlock the reveal. The more people interact with the playlist, the sooner the art will be revealed. You can head here to get in on the action.

The Chainsmokers have yet to announce a release date for the upcoming EP, but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that it will drop before the end of the year.
