The closed beta for CD Projekt RED’s Gwent: The Witcher Card Game begins today, the studio has announced via the official website. According to the news post, the first wave of invites are being sent out right now, so regardless of if you signed up months ago or yesterday, you might want to keep one eye on your email inbox.
As per the FAQ, the beta is only currently available on PC and Xbox One, but will come to PlayStation 4 and Windows 10 at a later date. In addition, Microsoft’s Xbox One Play Anywhere service will be available for Gwent, despite it not being a first-party title.
If you’re a card game fanatic and for whatever reason haven’t signed up to the beta yet, don’t worry – sign-ups still appear to be open and will be for the foreseeable future, although entry isn’t guaranteed.
There’s currently no full release date for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, but the beta will run until at least Spring 2017, whereupon it will launch in full. Expect new features to be added over time.
