Wally West Is A Man Possessed In The Flash Extended Promo

Despite being forced to take a week off due to Election Day in the United States, The Flash shows no signs of slowing down when it returns in two weeks as evidenced by this newly released extended trailer. If the episode itself is even half as intriguing as this footage, it should prove to be well worth the wait.

It goes without saying that all eyes have been affixed to Wally West this season, especially after we got teased with his Kid Flash persona on the “Flashpoint” episode. We can only hope that these vivid dreams he will have lead to him donning the red and yellow in this particular timeline sooner rather than later.

Also, considering that Dr. Alchemy looks to be heavily involved in the next installment, that may be a real possibility as he’s somehow been restoring powers to those who possessed them in the world of “Flashpoint.” If not, it’s at least cool to hear Tobin Bell essentially revisiting his Jigsaw voice whenever the villain makes an appearance.

I also can’t help but wonder with this episode being titled “Shade” if we’ll get some hints to the classic DC Comics villain of the same name. It would certainly be good timing given that he’s set to appear in the pages of The Flash #10, which arrives in comic shops on November 9th.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

When Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe. JJ Makaro directed the episode written by Emily Silver & David Kob.

The Flash returns with new episodes on Tuesday, November 15 on The CW.
