Office Christmas Party Trailer Stages A Festive Bash To Remember

Get ready for the festive bash to end all festive bashes with the latest trailer for upcoming ensemble comedy, Office Christmas Party.

Deck the halls with boughs of holly, for the festive season is (almost) upon us. Getting the party started ahead of schedule today is the rowdy new trailer for Office Christmas Party, Josh Gordon and Will Speck’s star-studded romp that takes the idea of an end-of-year bash and dials it up to 11.

Faced with imminent closure, Clay (T.J. Miller) and his Chief Technical Officer rally the rest of the branch to stage a festive party in a last-ditch attempt to woo a big-name client. As it happens, said client is partial to some revelry, though as today’s new sizzle reel attests, things get out of hand very, very fast.

Jennifer Aniston subverts expectations by assuming the role of cutthroat CEO Carol Vanstone, the Grinch-esque character who threatens to close the branch in the first place. Will her character experience the usual epiphany and embrace the Christmas spirit by the time the credits roll? Judging by this new trailer, we wouldn’t bet on it.

Rounding out the starry line-up are Jason Bateman, Vanessa Bayer, Jillian Bell, Jamie Chung, Rob Corddry, Abbey Lee, Kate McKinnon, Karan Soni, Courtney B. Vance, Matt Walsh and Olivia Munn, who is reportedly on the verge of signing on for Shane Black’s sci-fi reboot of The Predator.

Office Christmas Party will stage a festive bash to remember – or forget, if you’re Aniston’s tightly wound CEO – when Josh Gordon and Will Speck’s ensemble comedy opens on December 9. You can get a taste of those seasonal shenanigans via the gallery below.
