Last month, Eric Prydz announced that his acclaimed performance setup would be receiving a facelift with EPIC 5.0. The Swedish DJ has turned heads over the years with his technologically innovative live productions in the EPIC series, with past incarnations introducing 3D mapped visuals and holographic capabilities. Considering his penchant for pushing the envelope, fans were naturally excited by the prospect of a new chapter in the EPIC saga.

We still don’t know what exactly EPIC 5.0 will entail, aside from Prydz’ remark that it will “blow your head off,” but fans can at least rest easy in the knowledge of when the production will be unveiled. The superstar producer will officially debut the new show on May 27, 2017 at Creamfields Steelyard. On the Facebook post announcing the performance, Prydz states that EPIC 5.0 will be “the biggest and most technically advanced EPIC ever…”

In addition to rolling out new innovations for his performance setup, Eric Prydz has been busy teasing upcoming material under his Pryda moniker. During Halloween weekend, the Swedish legend tested out four unreleased IDs which are all suspected to be released under his alter ego in the (hopefully near) future.
