When it does, it’ll come bearing a rather hefty day-one patch for those on PS4 and Xbox One. Clocking in at 9GB in size, Reddit user LegalTRR (via PSLS) confirmed that the update will bring about improved texture streamer, shadow quality, reloading time, audio mix, and frame rate performance. What’s more, that day-one patch adds a mid-mission stats screen, screenshot preview for saved games, as well as various bug fixes. As for those on PC, last week we caught wind of the sequel’s official specs.

The option to pre-load Dishonored 2 is also live, with those who pre-ordered a digital or physical copy of Arkane’s follow-up able to boot up the game one day early – November 10.

Taking place some 15 years after the original Dishonored, the dual protagonists is perhaps one of the most exciting new features for the series. Both Corvo and Emily boast vastly different playstyles, too, with the latter offering players a more stealthy, agile character relative to the seasoned Corvo Attano.

Dishonored 2 slinks onto PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 11. As per Bethesda’s revised policy, review copies won’t be sent out to press until Thursday, so don’t expect to see any reviews at launch.
