More Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Promos Are Here To Tide You Over

Ask, and you shall receive. That seems to be the motto underpinning the marketing campaign for Disney's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. After getting a brand new international trailer yesterday, complete with an epic new shot of Darth Vader, we now have two more promos to feast our eyes on. Both are of the international nature once again, and they arrive in the form of a TV spot and yet another trailer.

Admittedly, neither of them have much in the way of new footage, but there’s some fantastic action shots teased, a few never before seen glimpses of some supporting characters and the X-wings, and the promise of several explosive battle scenes. All in all, they do a good job of continuing to build the hype for what’s quickly becoming one of the year’s biggest blockbusters.

What Disney’s done well so far is feeding us enough footage to whet our appetite but still not really spoiling all that much. Even with everything we’ve already seen, nothing from the film has been spoiled and we’re still left with tons of questions regarding the characters, plot and more. And that’s saying a lot since we technically know how this all ends (since it’s a prequel – taking place before the events of A New Hope).

As we noted yesterday, we still do have some hesitations here due to all the tampering the studio apparently did during production, but the trailers certainly paint a pretty picture and as of now, we’re excited to see how Rogue One: A Star Wars Story turns out when it flies into theatres on December 16th, 2016
