The black and white clip celebrates “blended families” as shots show various families bonding with their children, and even shows Keys and guest vocalist A$AP Rocky spending time with their own family, too. Keys describes the track as being inspired by her family’s journey to “cultivate deeper understanding, compassion, support and love,” and the point is projected beautifully throughout the video with all of the people featured in it.

Though “Blended Family (What You Do For Love)” is one of the more notable songs off of Alicia Keys’ new album, Here, the record in general is chock full of messages of love and compassion within the 16 tracks on it. Here is expected to debut on the charts with a release in the top three, and it’s an album that deserves all of the success that it achieves.
