Last week, many fans expected some sort of new look at Justice League to celebrate the fact that the movie was exactly one year away from being released. Unfortunately, nothing came, but it turns out that director Zack Snyder has actually been sharing set photos from the highly anticipated DC Comics adaptation for over two months without anyone realizing.

As you can see in the gallery above, the filmmaker has posted several photos he took during shooting, and while they don’t exactly reveal a ton of plot details, they’re still pretty cool to look at. In them, we get confirmation that at least some of Justice League will take place in Bruce Wayne’s new home on the grounds of Wayne Manor, while the rest seem to focus on Icelandic locations which will no doubt end up having ties to Aquaman, based on what we saw in the first trailer for the movie and the fact that Jason Momoa pops up in one of the shots above.

New previews for Transformers: The Last Knight and Spider-Man: Homecoming will be attached to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, so it seems unlikely that a new Justice League sneak peek will join them as well. It’s still possible that we’ll get something from the superhero ensemble before 2016 is over, but sadly, there’s no way of knowing for sure. If nothing else, here’s hoping Snyder continues sharing photos from his time shooting Justice League to whet our appetites until that new preview arrives.
