Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns from its brief hiatus with a brand new episode tomorrow night, and following the first Simmons-centric clip from a few days back, ABC has released another sneak peek from “Deals with Our Devils.” This time, the focus is placed on Daisy as she attempts to comfort Gabriel Reyes following the disappearance of his brother.
The lad is understandably not in the best of places after discovering that not only is his brother Robbie possessed by a mass-murdering Spirit of Vengeance, but that his Uncle Eli is a megalomaniacal madman bent on world domination. These sort of things do tend to dampen one’s day a little.
Daisy attempts to comfort Gabe by reassuring him that Robbie is still alive, and she seems to be getting through to him when Mac decides to go commandeer a motorcycle and charge out of the quinjet. Having not seen anything leading up to this, it’s difficult to put the scene in context, but the hotheaded agent is probably just sick of waiting for information on the whereabouts of his teammates, and breaks protocol to try to find them himself.
