Is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actually going to be any good? That’s a question a lot of fans are asking right now as Disney continues to throw images, promos, trailers and TV spots at us at an alarming rate. This week, we’ve got yet another new batch of images and they give us a great look at both the rebellious heroes and some of the new villains, like the Deathtroopers.

With it now becoming clear that those reshoots were a lot more significant than Lucasfilm would have us believe, it’s a very real possibility that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will turn out to be just as messy as Suicide Squad and Fantastic Four. That’s not a pleasant thought, and it would be nice to think that the studio has made sure that the finished product is something fans will love. If not, they risk alienating a dedicated fanbase and losing moviegoers who may not then be so keen to buy tickets for the likes of Star Wars Episode VIII and the Han Solo spinoff.

That’s very much a worst case scenario though, and with any luck, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be every bit as good as it looks. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see, but with only two weeks or so until the movie finally reaches theatres, we don’t have too much longer to go now before we find out one way or another.
