Though the publisher stopped short of revealing exactly when that technical test will go live, it’s expected to take place during the early stages of 2017, given Wildlands itself is currently slated for release in March. What’s more, Ubisoft has teased plans to host a number of alpha and beta tests for the open-world shooter prior to launch, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted should the company announce any further details.

To sign up, simply follow through to Ubisoft’s site and fill out the necessary details. You’ll have to link either your Ubisoft account, Facebook account, PlayStation Network account, or Xbox Live account, before being able to select your platform of choice. Those lucky enough to be selected for the tech test will then be notified closer to the time.

Elsewhere, you’ll be able to get a better sense of how Ghost Recon Wildlands plays via the new gameplay snippet above, which is designed to introduce the diverse environments that await in Bolivia. As the logline teases, players will step foot into a country on the brink of collapse, forcing you and your team behind enemy lines.

Players will discover Bolivia a few years from now, a country turned into a narco-state by the vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel. Sent behind enemy lines, Ghosts will have to cripple the Santa Blanca cartel’s operation, breaking alliances between the drug lords and the corrupted government, and saving the Bolivian population from the cruelty of El Sueño, Santa Blanca’s ruthless leader.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is earmarked for release across PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 7, 2017.
