Across the EP’s tracklist, Mantis offer up a singular vision of what bass music can be, kicking off with “Mobbin'” featuring Crichy Crich, a 140 BPM banger with monstrous riffs and earth shaking beats. Things get more melodic on “Anubis,” an Egyptian flavored trap track driven by brain splitting sirens and booming sub bass.

“You Know What We About” is another screeching dubstep excursion led by a cacophony of metallic bass noise, while “B.A.T.MAN VIP” brings the EP to a close with an adrenaline fuelled bass house workout that packs a punch with growling low end madness and pummelling rhythms.

With their latest release, Mantis firmly establish themselves as one of bass music’s more promising acts while delivering a solid release that doesn’t know how to quit.

The Hundred Deep EP is available now via Uplink Audio and can be purchased here.
