Previously referred to as Fox’s untitled mother-daughter comedy, Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn find themselves stranded abroad in today’s first pair of trailers for Snatched.

Schumer, who holds a writing credit on the family comedy, takes point as a newly-single woman in dire need of a vacation. After much hemming and hawing, she eventually convinces her uptight mother (Hawn) to jet off to South America. Sun, sand, and some much-needed bonding time are in the cards, but Snatched really kicks into gear when their holiday takes an unexpected turn, and you’ll be able to catch plenty of NSFW hijinks littered across the red band trailer, below. There’s also a safe-for-work cut that focuses more on the wonderful chemistry between Schumer and Hawn.

Because let’s face it, can you really imagine two actresses more suited to the ol’ mother-daughter dynamic than Schumer and Hawn? Even before 20th Century Fox kicked off marketing for Snatched, excitement for the duo’s overseas adventure was high, and there’s a very real prospect that the Jonathan Levine-directed romp could go on to emulate the success of Schumer’s Trainwreck come 2017.

Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is on board to produce with a script from Katie Dippold (The Heat, Ghostbusters). Indeed, Feig’s buddy-cop drama was said to be a jumping-off point for Snatched, creatively speaking, and we’re intrigued to see how Levine and Co. balance tongue-in-cheek shenanigans with character drama.

Neatly dovetailing its mother-daughter comedy with Mother Day’s weekend in the States, 20th Century Fox has earmarked Snatched for release on May 12, 2017. Joan Cusack, Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes, and Christopher Meloni complete the cast list.
