They Shall Not Pass, Battlefield 1‘s first of four upcoming expansion packs, is expected to launch across consoles and PC in March 2017, but it appears as if DICE is ready to offer fans an early peek of what’s to come.

Following up on last week’s tease, a batch of conceptual images have now found their way online via the studio’s blog, which are designed to showcase the new multiplayer maps included in They Shall Not Pass. Embedded above, keep in mind that these images represent DICE’s early vision for those all-new arenas, meaning the layout and overall design is subject to minor tweaks and changes between now and release.

One thing’s for sure: Battlefield 1‘s maiden expansion pack takes place during the famous Battle of Verdun, and will largely revolve around French soldiers fighting in The Great War. Little is known about the remaining three content packs, but it’s understood DICE plans to shift the focus to the Russian army at some point, which ought to bring a refreshing new perspective to the studio’s pixelated account of World War I. Those who own the BF1 Premium Pass ($50) will gain access to They Shall Not Pass – as well as the remaining three DLC packs – two weeks before they are released for all users.

Battlefield 1 is available now across PS4, Xbox One and PC, and we fully expect DICE’s wartime shooter to go down as one of 2016’s best. Giant’s Shadow, meanwhile, stands as the shooter’s first free add-on, which can be downloaded alongside the handy Spectator Mode from today, December 20, for all users – regardless of whether they hold Premium Passes or not.
