Transformers: The Last Knight TV Spot Makes You Rethink Your Heroes

Just like the Star Wars franchise, the Transformers movies aren't going anywhere any time soon. This summer, we'll see our fifth installment in the series roll into theaters with Transformers: The Last Knight. Whether you love these explosive, bombastic films or want them all to burn in a blazing tire fire, Paramount is still making them and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Ahead of The Last Knight‘s impending release, we now have a new TV spot for the blockbuster sequel, and it asks the viewer a tall order. In this new 13-second TV spot, Michael Bay’s latest boldly proclaims that you’ll need to “rethink your heroes.” It turns out Optimus Prime has turned towards the dark side and he might take down Bumblebee in the process. It also looks like Mark Wahlberg’s returning character Cade Yeager finds himself in harm’s way, but something tells us he’ll be alright.

The new TV spot arrives after last month’s explosive first trailer. We’ve still got a ways to go before the film’s June 23rd release, but Paramount is already getting the promotional train running at full speed, it seems. In addition to Wahlberg, Transformers: The Last Knight also stars Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Stanley Tucci, John Goodman, John Turturro and Josh Duhamel. Everyone knows though that the real stars are the big, shiny humanoid robots that smash into each other repeatedly, and we’re excited to see them in action this summer.

Tell us, are you looking forward to more Transformers, or would you rather see these movies die a slow, painful death? Sound off down below and give us your thoughts!
