The release of The LEGO Batman Movie isn’t too far off now. February 10th is the date for your diaries and to keep the spinoff at the forefront of your mind, Warner Bros. is continuing to drop promos like they’re going out of business. Today is no different, as the studio has released two new videos that once again show off the fun, irreverent spirit of the film, one which is sure to capture the hearts of audiences everywhere.

The first preview is titled “Meet the Team” and as you’d expect, shows off some of the main characters we’ll be getting acquainted with in just a few short weeks. Coming in at 30 seconds long, we get to see brief glimpses of Bats, the Joker, Robin, Batgirl and Alfred, as the studio throws enough one-liners into the mix to keep you laughing throughout. It’s brief, but gets across the film’s tone and sense of humor and is yet another smart piece of marketing material.

The next preview is titled Batgirl and as such places its focus on Rosario Dawson’s character. Showing off a bit of the dynamic between her and the titular hero, it’s another amusing spot which recycles some footage from the last one, but still packs in a few laughs and only serves to further our excitement for the film.

If there’s one thing that both of these promos get across, it’s that The LEGO Batman Movie is going to be a ton of fun. With the Caped Crusader casting a gloomy shadow over the DC Extended Universe, this will no doubt act as a refreshing change of pace for fans of the character. In fact, it might just prove to be the best Batman film of the year, should Justice League end up being a letdown – which it very well could.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, though. For now, there’s a lot to look forward to with The LEGO Batman Movie (beautiful animation, wonderful voice cast, laugh out loud humor, etc.), and we can’t wait to check it out in full when it arrives in theaters next month.
