Spider-Man Star Tom Holland Now Filming His Avengers: Infinity War Scenes

In case you've been hiding out in a cave for the past couple of days, production is now underway on Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers: Infinity War (which may actually be getting a title change, if a new logo is any indication). The internet's been pretty noisy about it lately and everywhere you turn it seems as if Marvel's upcoming blockbuster is in the news. Despite all this though, we've yet to see anything substantial from the project, and unfortunately, that doesn't look to change in the near future.

In case you’ve been hiding out in a cave for the past couple of days, production is now underway on Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War (which may actually be getting a title change, if a new logo is any indication). Despite all this though, we’ve yet to see anything substantial from the project, and unfortunately, that doesn’t look to change in the near future.

That’s because of the shooting schedule that’s been implemented. Given that Infinity War is set to feature just about every single MCU character still breathing – and that’s not an exaggeration – it’s been a challenge to get everyone together at the same time and as such, it’s sounding like most of the actors won’t even be on set together. We already know that Benedict Cumberbatch won’t arrive until the end of production, while Elizabeth Olsen is said to only show up a few months in, around March or April.

One person who’s already in Atlanta though and ready to shoot his scenes is Tom Holland. We know this because the actor all but confirmed it in a recent livestream. Though he doesn’t explicitly mention the name of the film he’s working on, it’s not hard to put the pieces together.

Whether Holland being on set so early on in the production indicates that he has a large role in the film is hard to say. He may only be there for a few weeks before moving on to another project. Right now, everything is up in the air with regards to Infinity War. We don’t even have an official cast list yet. It seems like most of the major characters are confirmed, but the studio has been keeping pretty quiet on the matter.

With the blockbuster currently shooting though, Marvel’s expected to reveal something shortly. Until they do, however, feel free to speculate on how Spidey may fit into the ensemble of Avengers: Infinity War by commenting down below.
