Movie Casting Call has unearthed a listing that suggests Star Wars: Episode IX will lens from July of this year ahead of its theatrical release in 2019.

First spotted by Omega Underground, the report claims London’s Pinewood Studios will once again play host to Disney’s Star Wars franchise only this time, it’s Jurassic World‘s Colin Trevorrow at the helm. He’ll direct from a script he penned alongside long-time writing partner Derek Connolly – the creative duo are also said to be heavily involved in Jurassic World 2, which is teetering on the brink of pre-production over at Universal – though there are naturally precious few details available for Episode IX at this early, early stage.

What we do know is that, in light of Carrie Fisher’s tragic death, Lucasfilm brass have “no plans” to recreate her General Leia Organa through digital means, something that we’ve seen in full effect for the CG rendering of Grand Moff Tarkin in last year’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Such a change of heart means Leia’s arc will need to be reconfigured, particularly after sources close to the Mouse House claimed her character was in line for two massive reunions throughout the course of The Last Jedi and Episode IX.

So far, estimations for when Star Wars: Episode IX will officially enter production have been all over the shop, with some claiming that the cameras will start rolling this April, while others point to a late 2017 start date. These findings from Movie Casting Call are right in the middle of that spectrum and are therefore slightly more plausible, but we’ll keep you updated nevertheless.

With the untitled Han Solo movie now ready for principal photography and Rogue One eyeing a Blu-ray release in April, the Star Wars news mill continues to run at full tilt, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on Disney’s galaxy far, far away as more information comes to light.
