Meet The Full Cast Of Marvel’s Inhumans

Marvel’s upcoming Inhumans has finally completed its casting, fleshing out who’s who in the much-anticipated show about the ‘Royal family’ of superheroes.

Just announced are: Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabella Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, and Ellen Woglom as an unknown character rumored to be the ‘normal’ one who we follow through this cosmic world. The five of them will be working alongside Anson Mount as Black Bolt, King of the Inhumans, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak and Iwan Rheon as Maximus.

Showrunner Scott Buck, who recently wrapped Iron Fist, said the following in a press release put out earlier today:

“With Eme, Isabelle, Mike, Sonya and Ellen portraying the rest of our leading roles, we have a strong cast that is going to add tremendous depth to our Royal Family.”

Exec producer Jeph Loeb also commented on the new casting, saying:

“Ken [Leung] brings both a wisdom and a power to [Karnak] that no one else could match”, that Serinda Swan “embodies Medusa’s regal glory” and that Anson Mount “loves the challenge of playing a character who will only communicate silently.”

Furthermore, the press release confirmed that Inhumans will feature a gigantic teleporting bulldog. And really, is there any show that wouldn’t be improved by adding one of those?

Uniquely for a TV series, Inhumans will premiere in IMAX theaters before making the move to ABC. This is the result of a partnership between Marvel/Disney and IMAX, with the first two episodes being shot exclusively on IMAX cameras and later instalments featuring sequences in the format. Using technology designed to make films on the monstrous sized cinema screens for TV is intriguing stuff, and if they think it can stand scrutiny on IMAX, it at least suggests they’re not skimping on the budget.

The first two episodes of Inhumans will be in IMAX theaters for two weeks from September 1st, with the show screening on ABC beginning a few weeks later on the 26th.
