If you’re looking for something to scratch your fix for horror games (and we’re assuming you already got your hands on the excellent Resident Evil 7), you’ll be glad to know that you won’t have to wait much longer. That’s because developer Red Barrels have announced a release date for their follow-up to Outlast.

The sequel, Outlast II, will release on April 25, launching simultaneously for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Not only will players be able to pick the game up on digital storefronts at this time, but a separate standalone collection will be available at retailers as well. This anthology, aptly titled the Outlast Trilogy, will bundle the original Outlast, its Whistleblower expansion, and Outlast II onto a single physical disc.

For the uninitiated, the original Outlast followed investigative journalist Miles Upshur, as he looked into the Mount Massive Asylum, a remote psychiatric hospital which some had claimed performed inhumane experiments on its residents. Its DLC, titled Whistleblower, revolves around a software engineer who works at Mount Massive, as he attempts to escape the facility after leaking confidential information to Miles.

On the other hand, Outlast II follows a new protagonist, Blake Langermann (who also happens to be an investigative journalist) as he and his wife Lynn attempt to investigate the mysterious murder of a young, pregnant woman. Much like the first game, Blake must use a camcorder outfitted with night vision in order to navigate through the night, while avoiding enemies who are attempting to hunt him down.
