Asgard Is Dead In This New Thor: Ragnarok International Trailer

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 now in the rearview mirror, Marvel has begun to focus their efforts elsewhere. Namely, on Thor: Ragnarok. Though the film is still pretty far off - with a November 3rd release date locked in - it's a big project for the studio given that the first two Thor movies are often regarded as some of the MCU's weaker efforts. As such, there's a lot of pressure on Taika Waititi's threequel to turn things around for the God of Thunder and understandably, Marvel is doing everything in their power to make sure that the third time's the charm for the hero.

While the marketing blitz has yet to truly kick off in earnest, we are starting to get a few bits of promotional material here and there and today, we’ve got another new preview to feast on. Following on from that explosive first trailer which nearly broke the internet a few weeks back, Marvel has now released a new international teaser for Thor: Ragnaork, giving us a look at what might just be one of 2017’s best comic book movies. A bold claim, to be sure, especially when you consider what else is cramming up the slate, but it’s one that very well could end up being true by the time December rolls around.

As far as this recently released promo goes, it’s rather short and doesn’t feature any new footage, but it recuts what we’ve already seen into a truly tantalizing preview, allowing us to relive all of those awesome moments from the first trailer. While it would have been nice to get something we haven’t yet seen, it’s understandable that Marvel is taking their time here. After all, they’ve still got Spider-Man: Homecoming to worry about first. Once that’s out of the way, though, then you can bet that the true Thor: Ragnarok marketing assault will begin – and we’re more than ready for it.

For now, take a look at this new international trailer up above and be sure to let us know what you think by dropping a comment down in the usual place!
