Assassin’s Creed Embers Trailer

Personally, I'm over the Assassin's Creed series, so over it. I enjoyed the first game, and bits of the second one but honestly, they've milked the series to death. Spread across multiple platforms, we've seen so many titles bearing the Assassin's Creed name and I can't help but to feel that they're all so similar.

Personally, I’m over the Assassin’s Creed series. So over it. I enjoyed the first game, and bits of the second one but honestly, they’ve milked the series to death. Spread across multiple platforms, we’ve seen so many titles bearing the Assassin’s Creed name and I can’t help but to feel that they’re all so similar.

Despite that, Ubisoft will release a fourth game in November. I say fourth because this is the fourth title in the main series, not counting spinoff titles. The game will be called Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and for some reason, a lot of people seem really excited for it. For me, I couldn’t care less but for those of you that still get a thrill from sneaking up behind someone and systematically assassinating them, then I have good news for you.

Included in the Signature and collector’s editions of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be a short animated film called Assassin’s Creed Embers. And today, we get the first trailer for the film. In it, we see an aged Ezio, presumably after the events of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

While I’m sure fans of the franchise will get a kick out of it, I have little to no interest in this. I won’t be buying Revelations, let alone the Signature/Collector’s edition so I probably won’t be seeing Embers.

I mean, it’s a neat idea on Ubisoft‘s part and will likely please fans but unless you’re really into the series, I can’t see anyone sitting down to watch a full out animated Assassin’s Creed film.

If you’re at all interested in Assassin’s Creed Embers, then take your first look at it below and let us know what you think in the comments.
