Get ready for more blood and guts. AMC has released a new trailer and sneak peak of their hit show The Walking Dead, based on Robert Kirkman’s nightmarish graphic novels about a zombie apocalypse.
Coming in at about four minutes, the new trailer is intense. Sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of zombie slayers are still fighting the undead with everything they’ve got, as shown by a series of intensely emotional shots. We are really getting a feel for just how alone and desperate to survive these people are.
The sneak peek shows Rick brutally bashing a zombie’s head in with a rock. This is a guy who will never give up, and season 2 is shaping up to be just as awesome as he is.
The Walking Dead season 2 premieres October 16 on AMC.
