Batman V Superman Cinematographer Says Justice League Looks “Incredible”

With Comic-Con just around the corner now, you’d better believe that the hype for Justice League is real.

After all, now that the DCEU has had its first unqualified success with Wonder Woman, hopes are running high that Warner Bros. can repeat the trick with the franchise’s next release. Though there’ve been some big changes behind the scenes recently, what with The Avengers director Joss Whedon taking over from Zack Snyder for the film’s reshoots, fans are crossing their fingers that this will still be the team-up movie that the League deserves.

As mentioned above, Comic-Con kicks off tomorrow and we fully expect WB to drop the next trailer for the blockbuster during their panel this weekend, but until then, we’ve got some words of encouragement for those who may still feel a bit hesitant about Justice League‘s chances of success.

Batman V Superman cinematographer Larry Fong recently took to Twitter to shower praise upon his colleague, Fabian Wagner, who’s working on the flick. And while he obviously wasn’t going to say anything negative about the movie, it’s still nice to hear that he’s so happy with what he’s seen so far.

Of course, just because the visuals are strong, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the film itself will be a hit. After all, most of Snyder’s efforts are visually gorgeous but fail to connect on a storytelling level. Still, we’ll remain hopeful that the DCEU continues its winning streak and after this weekend’s Comic-Con panel, we should have a much better idea of what’s in store for us.

With $765 million under its gold-plated belt and scores of positive reviews to its name, Wonder Woman stands as a difficult act to follow, but we’ll be able to see what all the fuss is about once Justice League hits theaters on November 17th. Aquaman, meanwhile, has been penciled in for release on December 23rd of 2018, and if online speculation is to be believed, it won’t be the only DC tentpole to light up the big screen next year.
