Truth be told, it’s been a long, bumpy journey to release. Back when the crossover project was first conceived, the Powers That Be over at Warner Bros. envisioned Justice League as a two-part epic – not unlike Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel, which is currently shooting scenes in Atlanta – before it was announced that Zack Snyder’s ensemble piece would be consolidated into a single movie.

Now, as the blockbuster approaches the finish line, more and more rumors about what we may see are starting to surface – the latest of which comes to us from scoopster Umberto Gonzalez. Take it with a grain of salt, as this hasn’t been confirmed by the studio just yet, but according to him, Justice League will have two post-credits scenes attached to it. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t give any details on what those sequences will entail, but he did note that there are already hints out there as to what they contain. Cue the speculation!

Really, these post-credit scenes can involve a whole bunch of different things, given how much is currently going on in the DCEU. Everything from a Green Lantern cameo to some kind of set up for future films like Aquaman could be the focus of these stingers and it’s highly unlikely that we’ll know exactly what they consist of until the pic hits theatres.

Thankfully, that won’t be long, as on November 17th, Justice League will jump-start a new wave of DC movies that ranges from the sure-fire hits (Wonder Woman 2) to the unknown quantities, such as David Sandberg’s long-brewing Shazam! movie. Assuming everything goes according to plan, moviegoers will be flocking to see both tentpoles in 2019.
