Ash vs. Evil Dead Photos Tease A Blood-Soaked Season 3

As you no doubt know by now, Starz has finally announced when season 3 of their hit series, Ash vs. Evil Dead, will be back on our screens. Unlike previous years, the new run will premiere in February instead of October. It's a bit of a bummer that we'll have to wait until 2018 to see more of the show, to be sure, but to tide us over, the network has now released a couple of new photos to tease what's to come.

As you no doubt know by now, Starz has finally announced when season 3 of their hit series, Ash vs. Evil Dead, will be back on our screens. Unlike previous years, the new run will premiere in February instead of October. It’s a bit of a bummer that we’ll have to wait until 2018 to see more of the show, to be sure, but to tide us over, the network has now released a couple of new photos to tease what’s to come.

From the press release sent out earlier this week, we already know to expect “more grisly battles, ghoulish banter and more blood-drenched fun than ever.” Not only that, but Ash will apparently be a “humanity-saving hometown hero” when things pick back up, and the official plot synopsis teases the following:

“The third season finds Ash’s status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead!”

Though not terribly revealing, the most noteworthy thing in these photos is, of course, our first look at Ash’s long lost daughter, played here by Arielle Carver-O’Neill. That aside, the pics promise a blood-soaked third season and if Bruce Campbell is to be believed, things will also be quite different this year.

Speaking at NYCC today, he said the following:

“It’s really, really, really different. You’re going to pick your fucking jaw up off the floor at the end of this season. And I wish I could tell you [more], because I would love to see your jaws drop right now, but no. Download the app and watch it yourself.”

Ash vs. Evil Dead will return to Starz on February 25th. Tell us, though, what are you most excited about seeing in season 3? Take to the comments section and give us your thoughts!
