On the eve of Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s Blu-ray release, Collider has conjured up an exclusive featurette designed to take us closer to Peter Parker’s bleeding-edge suit.
Initially conceived by Tony Stark, Parker’s prized asset is almost outdated by the time Homecoming finishes, as Stark went ahead and built a new iteration for the young Web-Head. Peter Parker refused, of course, but we can still look forward to seeing that suit on the big screen in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War.
Closer to home, this insightful featurette recounts the overall design, and brings us interviews with Tom Holland and Jon Watts, both of whom are set to return for the film’s untitled sequel in two years’ time. Indeed, Spider-Man: Homecoming is already available on Digital HD, but tomorrow will see Marvel’s standalone pic scurry onto Blu-ray and DVD. And just like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 before it, the home video release comes packing a slew of extras, including 10 deleted scenes, a gag reel, and more PSAs from Captain America.

Per his current Marvel contract, Tom Holland will reprise his role as the Web-Head once Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 scurries into theaters on July 5th, 2019. It’ll be emerging from the shadow of Infinity War and Avengers 4, which are due to arrive on May 4th, 2018 and May 3rd, 2019, respectively.
