Justice League will clock in at 121 minutes, and though not short by any means, for a film of this nature, it’s certainly a bit worrying for fans. Look, don’t get us wrong, no one wanted a 3 hour or longer cut, but 2.5 hours or even 2 hours and 20 minutes is more in line with what we were expecting.

After all, the pic has a ton of work to do in not just introducing a number of very important characters, but also laying the groundwork for the next few entries into the DCEU. Not to mention that with so many heroes being featured here, we’d hate to see some of them pushed to the sidelines and not get enough time on screen. As comic book movie fans know, that’s happened far too many times in the genre.

But still, even despite the questionable length, we’ll reserve judgement until we’ve actually seen the pic. Word is that Joss Whedon’s streamlined Justice League and trimmed off a lot of the bloat, leaving just what was necessary and ending up with a more straight forward movie because of it. Whether that’ll result in a better viewing experience remains to be seen, but we don’t have long before we find out, as DC’s finest heroes will be with us on November 17th.
