In the fifth episode of season 4 of The Flash, titled “Girls Night Out,” Barry Allen and Iris West will celebrate their bachelor and bachelorette parties ahead of the long-awaited wedding during the big four-way Arrowverse crossover coming at the end of November. This being Central City though, where metahumans cause trouble every Tuesday, things don’t go too smoothly.
“Girls Night Out” is set to be a big outing for the show, as it features a couple of exciting guest appearances. First, Emily Bett Rickards will crossover from Arrow as Felicity Smoak drops by to attend Iris’ big night. Meanwhile, former Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff joins the cast in the recurring role of Amunet, a metahuman villain also known as the Blacksmith who has a hold over Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost and looks like she’s going to crash the party.
On the boys’ front, it doesn’t seem like Barry’s evening goes much better. By the looks of things, the whole of his crew ends up in jail. Among them is Hartley Sawyer’s Ralph Dibny AKA Elongated Man, who we’ll meet for the first time in next week’s episode, “Elongated Journey into the Night.” Going by the promo, it appears that Barry and Ralph will be a loggerheads at first but things will apparently cool down enough for him to be invited to the hero’s night out.
Elsewhere, Caitlin will relapse into Killer Frost for the first time since episode 1 and as we know from comments made by Danielle Panabaker, Iris will be instrumental in helping her overcome her icy alter ego.
For more, here’s the official synopsis:
Having received an ominous threat from her old boss, Amunet (guest star Katee Sackhoff), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) fears that her past time as Killer Frost may be back to haunt her. Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) comes to Central City to help the girls celebrate Iris’s (Candice Patton) bachelorette party, while Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and the guys take Barry out for a night on the town.
Catch The Flash “Girls Night Out” when it lands on The CW on Tuesday, November 7th.
