With news that Universal is prepared to launch the very first teaser for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – assuming you’re not counting that holiday-themed promo that debuted in time for Thanksgiving, of course – the Russo Brothers have all but confirmed that the Avengers: Infinity War trailer will finally – finally! – hit the interwebs this Thursday, November 30th.

How do we know? Well, if you’ve been following the directors’ shared Facebook feed, you’ll know that Monday brought forth a rather playful clue, which included the number three and nothing else. That divided the Marvel fanbase into two camps: those who believed that Infinity War‘s inaugural teaser would release on December 3rd, and those who sided with the theory that Marvel has earmarked Thursday, November 30th as the big day.

It now appears that the latter one is correct, as a second Facebook clue has been released, and this one features an anthropomorphic number two waving merrily toward the camera.

We’ve all been following the breadcrumbs for an awful long time, but there are now only two days standing between now and D-day. Yes, if the first-look teaser for Fallen Kingdom wasn’t enough, Marvel Studios is all set to drop the Avengers: Infinity War trailer for all to see on that same day as well.

And though it’s impossible to know for sure, there’s a very good chance that Thursday’s preview will be identical to the one shown at San Diego Comic-Con back in July, when Marvel almost raised the roof off Hall H. That trailer in question was just over a minute in length, and was designed to highlight Thanos and his unbridled power.

Not unlike Justice League, much of Avengers: Infinity War will likely revolve around the Mad Titan’s quest to locate all of the Infinity Stones. And it’s up to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to stop him. Expect that Herculean battle to bleed over into the so-far untitled Avengers 4, but for now, all eyes are trained on Infinity War. May 4th, 2018 is the date for your diaries.
