Everything That’s Coming To The Marvel Cinematic Universe In 2018

2017 was a big year for the superhero genre as a whole, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe in particular had a very exciting and successful 12 months. On the big screen, everyone's favorite A-holes reassembled for another space-faring adventure in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spidey finally got his first solo MCU outing with Homecoming and the God of Thunder ended the year on a high note, with Thor: Ragnarok dominating the box office and winning over just about everyone.

The small screen, meanwhile, though not quite as impressive, still pumped out some decent efforts from the House of Ideas. Netflix brought with it the long-awaited team-up series The Defenders and the really rather excellent Punisher while also giving us the admittedly underwhelming Iron Fist. The streaming giant aside, we also saw Inhumans, Runaways and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hit television, with the last two still airing.

But as much as we got in 2017, 2018 looks to bring with it even more. With three feature film releases, two television shows carrying over from last year, another three shows set to continue with new seasons and finally, another two making their grand debut, there’s never been a better time to be a fan of all things Marvel.

And so, with that in mind, ComicBook.com has combed through the release schedule to bring us the below list of everything coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018.

  • Runaways
  • Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • Black Panther
  • Cloak and Dagger
  • Jessica Jones S2
  • Avengers: Infinity War
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp
  • Luke Cage S2
  • Daredevil S3
  • New Warriors

So, there’s lots to look forward to then. Granted, we still don’t have exact dates for a few of these – Luke Cage S2, Daredevil S3, etc. – but they’re all set to arrive in 2018 and for fans, that’s hugely exciting. Of course, the biggest release is obviously Avengers: Infinity War, but personally, I’m also highly anticipating Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man sequel and another round of Jessica Jones – which, in my opinion, is Marvel’s best show at the moment.

What are your thoughts, though? Is there a particular Marvel Cinematic Universe release in 2018 that you’re looking forward to the most? If so, be sure to let us know what it is by dropping a comment down below.
