But even at two minutes in length, there are those who feared Infinity War had revealed too much, too soon, particularly when fans began speculating on the respective fates of their on-screen favorites. Last we checked, Vision, Iron Man and Drax the Destroyer were all at risk of being bumped off early, though we imagine Joe and Anthony Russo will save most, if not all of the major characters deaths until Avengers 4 arrives next year.

It seems that even a fear of spoilers hasn’t stopped people, though, as they’re still clamoring for more. And really, why wouldn’t they be? That initial preview was a superbly well executed tease of what’s to come, with fans now demanding to see something else. And thankfully, they might just get their wish quite soon.

That’s because Deadline is reporting today that Disney has carved out room during the Super Bowl next weekend for two TV spots – one that will run for 30-seconds and another that will be 45-seconds. So, we know we’re getting two new promos from the House of Mouse then, but with the studio remaining tight-lipped about what they’ll be for, fans can only speculate – which is exactly what we’re going to do right now.

A few titles stand out as likely contenders, but we’re thinking Avengers: Infinity War might be in line for a new preview, and here’s why. Firstly, you’ve gotta imagine that at least one of those spots will be used for a Marvel movie, and given that the promotional campaign for Black Panther has just about run its course, we don’t see them releasing anymore fresh footage – we’ve already seen a ton from it, after all. Ant-Man and the Wasp is a possibility too, of course, but it’s still pretty early to be getting a look at that one (the sequel won’t scurry into theaters until July).

As such, Infinity War seems like the most likely bet. If Disney decides to use both spots for Marvel films then no doubt we’ll see something from the next Avengers pic. But even if only one of them is dedicated to the House of Ideas, we think Joe and Anthony Russo’s blockbuster has a good chance of being showcased. After all, both Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Civil War were May releases and those, too, got Super Bowl spots.

Again, this is all just speculation and will probably remain as such right up until Game Day, but what we can tell you with absolute certainty is that on May 4th, Avengers: Infinity War will shake the MCU down to its very foundations, before the Russo brothers return to finish the job with the launch of Avengers 4 in 2019.
